Bob Kellagher

Bob Kellagher is President and CEO of Burgundy Digital, a full service digital agency headquartered in Philadelphia. Local clients come to him for digital solutions that put them ahead of their competitors on Google and other Internet and mobile search platforms.

Earlier in his career, Bob was an accomplished newspaper advertising specialist known for developing innovative programs to help grow local businesses through print advertising solutions. In 1993 he became one of the first to start introducing businesses to the power of local online business directories. In 1994 he was named President of Leadernet, an Internet company in Northeast Pennsylvania that helped local clients and ad agencies understand the marketing opportunity of the Internet.

Bob joined Calkins Media in 2000, and pioneered a number of new programs including Marketplace, a complete digital marketing solution that was embraced by hundreds of local businesses. By working closely to understand the needs of those clients, Bob helped grow Phillyburbs into a top news and information source in the Delaware Valley. The site was named “Best in Show” at America East, a national conference of newspaper publishers and executives, and also cited for “Best Online Advertising Program.”

For the past 20 years, Bob has worked with newspapers, TV stations, and radio stations to bring effective digital solutions to local businesses to complement their traditional advertising programs. He is recognized as an expert in helping media companies develop full service agencies in their local markets, in order to better provide both the digital advertising and services that their clients are now seeking.

Bob is a frequent speaker at media industry events, and was recently featured at the Local Media Association’s “Digital Advertising Summit” in Chicago.

Bob’s home is in Philadelphia, where he devotes off hours to fitness pursuits, and finding the best BYO restaurants in the city.
